MOSCOW, September 5 (ChinaMil) -- The "August 1" Aerobatics Team of the Air Force of the Chinese People’s Liberation Army (PLAAF) left the Ramenskoye Airport in the suburbs of Moscow for home on September 4, 2013.
During the 11th Moscow International Aviation and Space Salon, the "August 1" Aerobatics Team of the PLAAF flying J-10 aerobatic planes successively performed 21 highly-difficult stunts, such as single-plane rising at large angle of elevation, double-plane scissors maneuvering and head-to-head crossing, three-plane rising, rolling and separating, four-plane diamond formation, five-plane horizontal dispersing and six-plane low-altitude hovering.
"The success of the first show in Moscow is attributed to wide-range and multi-level exchanges and cooperation between the PLAAF and other air forces worldwide as well as in-depth development of the relations between China and Russia and between their militaries," said Liu Peilong, political commissar of the "August 1" Aerobatics Team.
Since its establishment 51 years ago, the "August 1" Aerobatics Team of the PLAAF has been successively equipped with China’s independently-developed J-5, J-6, JJ-5, J-7EB, J-7GB and J-10.
