According to He Huawu, Chief Engineer of the China Railway Corporation (CRC), under the sophisticated combination of Chinese national standards, industrial standards, and CRC standards, the "Chinese Bullet-Train Standards" is designed for railway operating environment and standards in China. The new train with speed up to 350 kilometers per hour features a number of new technologies in safety and reliability, which make the train more comfortable and environmental friendly.

A report in The Korea Economic Daily dated June 22 says that Chinese high-end manufacturing industries like high-speed rail and nuclear energy are now rapidly expanding on the world market, "Chinese industry standards have the potential to become world standard."
