Nanshan Ski Resort in Beijing
Covering an area of 4000 mu (267 hectares), Beijing Nanshan Ski Resort is an all-year-round Beijing holiday resort. With its beautiful panorama, the resort makes for a great place to ski in winter, enjoy the natural scenery in spring, play water games in summer, and pluck fruits in autumn.
Located in the south of the Miyun District, the resort features 11 slopes that suit people from beginner-level to the more advanced one. Furthermore, it was the first resort to introduce snowboarding in China. A snowboarding piste was built to the standards of Europe's Mellow Park, in cooperation with Austrian MELLOW Company.
When it comes to skiing, many people will immediately think of southern Austria or Switzerland. However, not everyone can afford to travel to, let alone stay at, a fancy Swiss ski resort.
